Creating Value Through
Disciplined Execution
PO&G Resources (PO&G) is an oil and gas company that acquires and manages assets owned through a series of investor funds
The company focuses on the acquisition of US Lower 48 onshore reserves that provide the opportunity for production and reserve growth through the disciplined application of technology and capital. PO&G’s disciplined acquisition philosophy and operational efficiencies have led to peer outperformance over the last 15+ years.
PO&G acquires conventional and unconventional oil and gas properties and increases their value by improving operations such as artificial lift, water flood optimization, and development drilling. The company’s current oil and gas properties are located in: Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Mississippi, North Dakota, Colorado, Kansas, Indiana, and Utah. Oklahoma and the Gulf Coast of Texas are the company’s largest operating regions. Current gross / net production is 6,500 / 4,500 BOE/D.
Disciplined Capital Investment Program Capitalizes on Industry Cycles
Over the past twenty-seven years, PO&G has developed a proven program to identify a broad range of oil and gas opportunities, and then utilize a rigorous technical, operational, and financial process to pursue those investment projects that provide the greatest risk adjusted rate of return. We believe that the management of acceptable technical, operational, and financial risk has been a key attribute in our ability to repeatedly create value through various industry up and down cycles.
As a result of the high returns generated from the company’s historical investments, PO&G’s original growth was funded through the re-investment of internally generated cash flow. In 2017, PO&G launched its first fund to partner our capital with outside investors. The company’s consistent, steady investment process has allowed it to grow through various industry cycles. As a result of the company’s conservative capital structure, PO&G has taken advantage of various industry down-turns to opportunistically expand its holdings of oil and gas assets.
